Most recently, Mr. Jacob oversaw over 1 million square feet of new development projects for RAF Pacifica Group, a commercial real estate developer based in Encinitas. Responsibilities included managing due diligence issues, engineering, architectural, construction, zoning, environmental, and Geotech issues. He was also responsible for the master scheduling of all projects from inception to completion.

Notably, Mr. Jacob was on the development/management team that oversaw the Cross-Border Xpress project, a pedestrian bridge provided exclusively for passengers of the Tijuana International Airport that allows passengers to cross the border between Mexico and the United States.

Jim spent ten years specializing in sales and leasing of industrial, retail, and office properties, including land sales for CB Richard Ellis (formerly Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate). Mr. Jacob has 38 cumulative years of Commercial Real Estate Development/Construction Manager experience.

Before this, Mr. Jacob spent six years in residential and commercial construction and remodeling for the Chart House Corporation on the West Coast with VanSickle Designer/Builder and T.J. O’Leary Construction Company. He was a founding partner in Bearing Construction Co. a commercial construction company in 1998.

Mr. Jacob’s contribution to the San Diego real estate industry includes over 400 sale and lease transactions. His sales and marketing experience include significant projects and clients such as Lusk/Mira Mesa Business Center; Eastlake Development; Rancho Del Rey for McMillin Communities; Maxwell Laboratories; Mattel Toys; Grossmont Hospital; Kaiser Permanente; and Scripto/Tokai, among others.
